National Trust ACT Heritage Awards

Volunteers at the Centre started planning and researching for a new exhibition about colonial settlement at the Palmerville Estate in Ginninderra last year (2025). The exhibition was finalised in time for the ACT Heritage Festival in March 2026 and received excellent reviews and attracted many visitors.
National Trust ACT nominated the exhibition as a finalist in their 2026 Heritage Awards and several volunteers attended the event at the Hyatt Hotel last Thursday, 15th October.
We didn't win an award on the night but we were delighted that the exhibition - Palmerville 1826 - A Bicentennial Exhibition - had been identified as worthy of a nomination for excellence.
The exhibition remains in place until the end of 2026.
