Annual Address, Hall Heritage Centre
The 2026 Annual Address will be delivered by Dr Mat Trinca Talalin AM FAHA, Professor of Museum Practice at the ANU. He was formerly Director of the National Museum of Australia (2014-24). Prof. Trinca is also Chair of the Board of Canberra's Cultural Facilities Corporation, a Commissioner for Culture and Olympic Heritage advising the IOC, and a board member of the Asian Civilisations Museum, Singapore. He also serves on several arts and culture boards across Australia.
His address is titled 'Local History and National Meaning: Australian history as a mosaic of our experiences'.
The Address (and questions) will be followed by a light lunch.
