Pack up your troubles!

Its that time of year again - Hall's annual Twilight Concert with Canberra Brass. Organised by Friends of the Hall School Museum, this year's concert will have a World War I flavour, with the Band playing a variety of popular songs from that bygone era. The concert is on March 22nd at 5.00 pm at Hall School.

In fact there will be performances by two Bands, a Quintet, and a soloist - a veritable feast. Canberra Brass will be supported by their development Band - the Victoria Street Brass, their own Brass quintet, and soloist Rebbekah Sawkins. As always there will be a mix of the mellow, musicals, marches and more. Canberra Brass will be under the baton of Musical Director Viv Martin.

All this is free - but you will have opportunities to show your appreciation, and benefit the Hall School Museum. There is to be a raffle - with a case of wine from Barnett and Lilley, and a presentation bag of select olive product from Homeleigh Grove. There will also be a traditional bucket collection.

Funds raised will benefit the Hall School Museum, which will be opened for the occasion from 3.30 pm. If you have not visited this wonderful local history and heritage centre we suggest that you come early to look around.

The concert will again be in the school grounds, just off Victoria Street, with plenty of parking all around the school site. Bring a rug (or folding chair) to sit on. Refreshments available - including the regular Preschool Parents sausage sizzle. Come hungry and support them! The show starts at 5.00 pm.
