Voices from the Schoolhouse returns

Earlier in the year post graduate students from the Research School of Humanities ANU worked with volunteers from the Heritage Centre to develop an exhibition called: Voices from the Schoolhouse – Fighting for the Future of our Past.

The exhibition was open to the public for a month in June during the academic term time, and was then dismantled.

The key components of the display have been revived, with a few interesting additions, and are now on show at the centre until December. Included are several interesting 'vox pops' clips from interviews with some of our members, explaining why they volunteer.
