Pizza evening with the Rotary Club of Hall

Despite the constant rain, about 30 people enjoyed an in-house pizza evening on Tuesday 3rd March.
Recently, the Rotary Club of Hall gave a financial sponsorship to the Hall Heritage Centre for the development & advancement of our Education Program.
Students from ACT schools in Years 1 and 2 participate in the program which promotes on-campus excursions to experience how changes in technology impact the way we live.
Additionally, volunteers at the centre have developed a program called Heritage in a Suitcase. Artefacts, books, classroom activities & old-fashioned games are housed in old suitcases and rented out to schools on a weekly basis, to be used within their classrooms.
The Rotary sponsorship will be used to develop another 2 sets of the suitcase resources, so more schools can utilise them.
