Fooling around in flannels
1 December 2020
After a long delay because of the pandemic, on Sunday we were able to give Friends and our collaborators from the Historical Society an exclusive preview of the joint exhibition Fooling Around in Flannels. They saw it in its all-but-complete state, lacking only the Nina Southwell cricketing gear that we will be borrowing from the National Museum next year.
Among the previewers was our good friend Linda Roberts from Heritage ACT who was delighted to hear that the exhibition would have a formal launch and then be open as a Heritage Week event in 2021. The opening date will probably be Sunday 11 April.
