Brass on the Grass
29 November 2020
After a six month COVID delay we are delighted to again be hosting the (twelfth) annual Brass Band Concert with the Canberra Brass - 'Brass on the grass'. The Band has been out of action for many months also, so a 'big blow' at our fine outdoor venue will be a celebratory return to business for them, under the direction of Musical Director Veronica Boulton.
Our faithful sponsors, Barnett Lilley and Associates, are again coming to the party, and evergreen presenter David Kilby will again do the honours as MC. Refreshments will be available, and the event will again be a major fund-raiser for the museum. As we will not have EFT facilities, please bring some cash for your refreshments and raffle tickets! Raffle prizes have been generously donated by local businesses: Hall Farm Supplies, The Shearing Shed Hair Salon, Endless Beauty, Daughters at Hall, Capital Wines, Jelly Bug Treasures, Hops and Vine, Kynefin Cafe. Please support them!
Limited seating will be provided. It would be a good idea to bring picnic chairs or a blanket if you are able to.
COVID safety is still a top priority. The Concert is free, but will be an all-ticketed event with bookings to be made on-line at trybooking. Alternatively, go to trybooking.com and search for 'Brass on the grass'. This will enable us to collect contact details and manage the number of people attending. Your printed tickets will be collected on entrance to the event area.
Put 4.30 pm 29th November into your diary now, and look forward to chilling out to a fine brass band concert in the big outdoors!
