Cameron, Miss Catherine Alice
Ewan Cameron, first teacher at Weetangera married Ann Smith; together they had nine children. We are told that five of them became teachers. One of their children was named Catherine Alice Cameron (born 1870). An 'Alice Cameron' was teacher at Yarralumla (Bulgar Creek) 1911-1914, and Wantagong (1915-1922). Gillespie records that Catherine Alice Cameron was the second wife of Edgar Nathaniel Lucas, a farmer and grazier at 'Wantagong
Catherine died in 1943.
