ACT Heritage Grants 2016-17 Announcement
24 August 2016
The successful organisations that applied for an ACT Heritage 2016-17 grant were announced today and once again the Hall Museum & Heritage Centre was amongst them. The museum was one of twenty one successful grantees who representated a number of different community groups, educational institutions, churches and residents associations.
The grant is for $7500 to digitise the research material including papers, photographs, audio tapes and slides from the Lyall Gillespie Collection. The primary objective of the grant is to preserve the content of the collection before it deteriorates further. It will also become more readily available for research and for display purposes on the Museum's website.
