CIT students choose our Museum

19 April 2012

A group of students enrolled in the CIT 'Museum Practice' program (Certificate IV) have chosen the Hall School Museum to undertake their practical assignment. The assignment requires them to prepare a small exhibition, and they have decided on the theme of 'discipline'

Bruce Do, one of the group says: "After what we have seen I think that our group would love to have an exhibition in June after the 'Bush Schools of the Hall District' exhibition. Overall, we are extremely impressed with what we saw yesterday! Lots of potentials, ideas and challenges".

Curator Phil Robson and Friends of the Museum have actively cultivated relationships with both CIT and the Donald Horne Institute for Cultural Heritage at the University of Canberra, and are delighted to have the first student group coming to do some work at the Museum. Hopefully this will be just a start.
