Rediscovering Ginninderra:
John Lowe
Born: c. 1806
Dubliner, John (sometimes 'James') Lowe, arrived in Australia on the convict transport Regalia in 1825. He was just 19 years old and had been sentenced to seven years' transportation.
In 1828 he is listed as working as a shepherd on Palmer's Ginninderra estate. It is not known at this stage what happened to him after this.
